About Our Presenters
Ann Cecil Steadman, MS, LAc
We are pleased to welcome back Ann Cecil Steadman as our featured lecturer this year. Ann is an Associate Faculty member of the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She is also author of the textbook “Advanced Acupuncture: A Clinic Manual, Protocols for the Complement Channels of the Complete Acupuncture System”.
She has lectured internationally on Advanced Pulse Diagnosis, Sinew Channels, and Advanced Acupuncture. She also teaches coursework on the Complement Channels of the Sinew, Luo, Divergent and Eight Extra Channels.
Kristine Tohtz, DC, DABCA, LAc, CAACP, Cert MDT
Dr. Kristine Tohtz is clinic director of Serenity Health & Wellness. She is a faculty instructor at the National University of Health Sciences. She lectures extensively on the topics of acupuncture, pediatrics, pregnancy and women’s health issues and is sought after for her expertise in these areas. She currently serves as President of the Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture.
Gary Estadt, DC, DABCA, DACRB
Dr. Gary Estadt is clinic director of Estadt Chiropractic Center. He is a staff physician at Lake Health Hospital. He lectures extensively on acupuncture and dry needling, ethics, documentation and recordkeeping, and nutrition. He has served as President of the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture, and current serves as VP of the Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture.
Julie Smith, DN, DC
As a doctor of naprapathy and chiropractic, Julie Smith DN,DC enjoys helping people maintain health and prevent diseases naturally. She has been practicing since 1984. Dr. Julie Smith received a bachelor’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in dance from Illinois State University. Upon earning her doctorate from the Chicago National College of Naprapathy, she became a doctor of chiropractic and board-certified naturopath. She is also certified to perform acupuncture. With her background in dance and physical education, Dr. Julie enjoys working with rehabilitation of injuries, as well as with musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. As a complementary medicine provider, she treats a variety of internal disorders, including chronic fatigue, candidiasis, anxiety, and female hormone status.
